Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee State Property Committee: The 19th-century estate and the former bread factory in Tolochin can be purchased for the basic unit

The Committee for State Property of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, together with the regional television and radio company "Vitebsk," reviewed the work on involving unused state property in economic circulation using the example of the Tolochin region (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hrh_Iq1BaXQ).

As of today, the Tolochin district is the leader in the Vitebsk region in terms of the number of objects involved in economic circulation – 5 unused objects have already found new owners at auction.

Thus, a complex of facilities of the former flax mill in the village of Voskresenskaya, occupying 31 hectares, with a building area of over 10,000 sq.m., was sold at auction in March for the base price.

The new owner of the former flax mill is a resident of Tolochin. The mandatory condition for the sale is either the commencement of entrepreneurial activity at the facility no later than two years from the date of sale, or the demolition of the facilities.

This year, a number of new facilities, including production ones, will be offered to potential investors.

 

The former bread factory in Tolochin, for which documents are currently being prepared for sale, is planned to be put up for auction at the base price.

The bread factory complex includes 10 capital buildings with an area of 3600 sq.m., some of which are currently leased. The bread factory is equipped with engineering infrastructure and has a favorable location – on the outskirts of Tolochin.

Unused objects of historical and cultural value also arouse great public interest.

The Tyundevitskikh manor house in the village of Goloshevo will soon be offered for sale at auction, also at the base price.

According to historical records, the current brick manor house was built by the owner of the estate – the young engineer Mikhail Tyundevitskikh in 1897.

An interesting part of it was a spacious terrace with columns, from which a beautiful view opened up for guests.

The lands of the Tyundevitsky estate comprised 2200 hectares. A number of enterprises were also established here – a sawmill, a turpentine factory, an alcohol distillery, a farm for breeding elite horse breeds, and cattle yards.

Based on the sapropel extracted from Glukhoe Lake (now Glubokoe), Mikhail Tyundevitsky opened a sanatorium and mud bath facility, which attracted visitors even from St. Petersburg.

During Soviet times, a school for the deaf and mute was located here, followed by a boarding school, and later the manor house housed a library.
