State Property Committee: Apartment in Vitebsk District Sold at Auction for the First Time with a Price Reduction
A 2-room apartment with a total area of 52 sq. m., located in a one-story residential building in the village of Zapolye, Vitebsk region, was previously leased by the Surazh forestry to its employees. After the apartment ceased to be used by the forestry, it was offered to those in need of housing improvement – but even among them, there were no takers.
In August, the apartment was offered for sale at a regular auction, but there were no buyers either.
As a result, on October 7, the Vitebskoblимущество committee put this apartment up for sale at a declining price auction. There were 2 potential buyers for this sales method.
The initial price of the apartment was set at 3910 rubles. With each step of the auction, the price decreased, and at the 17th step of the auction, the apartment was sold for 785 rubles to a resident of the same settlement, living next door.
