Over three years, 85% of 697 unused real estate objects in the Orsha region have already been put into economic circulation

This year, an on-site meeting of the Presidium of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus was held in Orsha, where the effectiveness of the Orsha District Development Program implementation was reviewed. Among other things, issues of involving unused real estate objects into economic circulation were raised, as one of the main reserves for economic development.

It should be recalled that thanks to the adoption of Decree No. 506, the region has been provided with unprecedented support measures designed to stimulate development in all areas of activity.

In accordance with the government's directive, the Vitebsk Regional Property Committee, together with the Orsha District Executive Committee, updated the list of unused real estate objects in the region as of October 1.

Initially, during the inspection of the use of property of both state and private ownership conducted in September 2018, 624 unused objects were identified. A plan was developed for all objects to involve them in economic circulation, broken down by year until 2023.

Over the past 3 years, 593 objects have been put into economic circulation or demolished. As of today, 121 objects remain uninvolved.
