Committee for Labor, Employment and Social Protection: Nearly 3.7 thousand jobs will be offered by employers in the Vitebsk region at the youth job fair
Nearly 3.7 thousand jobs will be offered by employers in the Vitebsk region at the republican youth job fair, which will be held from May 15 to 19. This was reported by the Committee for Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.
The job fair will be held at 26 venues in all cities and districts of the northern region, two of which will be located in Vitebsk itself. Employment options will be offered to students and graduates of educational institutions. "More than 190 employers in our region will present about 1.5 thousand temporary jobs and vacancies for the employment of young students in their free time from studies. Also, almost 200 employers will provide more than 2.2 thousand jobs for graduates," the committee clarified.The largest number of temporary jobs for young people in the Vitebsk region can be provided by enterprises in agriculture and forestry, communal services, construction, healthcare, industry, and social services. The main types of work among those offered relate to the agro-industrial complex and education. Young men and women will be able to engage in landscaping and cleaning of territories, field, auxiliary, repair and construction work, trade, harvesting of fruits and vegetables, and work in health camps.
Healthcare organizations, agricultural enterprises, construction companies, as well as industrial enterprises are ready to invite graduates of educational institutions to work. According to the committee, specialist doctors, veterinarians, engineers, instrument mechanics and automation fitters, electricians, drivers, cooks, and salespersons are currently listed among the most in-demand professions.
The republican youth job fair will be held from May 15 to 19. The schedule of events is published on the portal of the state employment service, the website of the regional committee, and the internet platforms of district and city executive committees, educational institutions, and their social networks. During the fair, interactive platforms will be organized on-site, where young job seekers can consult directly with employers.
