In the nationwide vacancy bank, employers in the Vitebsk region have posted over 9,000 vacancies, with more than 67% of them being for blue-collar professions.

The largest number of vacancies has been posted by organizations in agriculture, forestry, and fishing – approximately 1.6 thousand vacancies.

• Tractor driver-machinist of agricultural production (over 450 vacancies, salary from 450 to 1400 rubles)
• Milking machine operator (over 220 vacancies, salary from 420 to 1200 rubles)
• Livestock breeder (over 180 vacancies, salary from 420 to 1100 rubles)
• Zootechnician (over 60 vacancies, salary from 450 to 3000 rubles)
• Veterinarian (over 100 vacancies, salary from 450 to 2600 rubles)

Also, organizations of various types of activities require car drivers (over 600 vacancies, salary from 420 to 2500 rubles).

Of the total number of vacancies in the database, about 48 percent are jobs with a salary level between 500 and 800 rubles, 16 percent are from 800 to 1000 rubles, and over 6 percent are above 1000 rubles.

The salary amount depends on the applicant's level of education and work experience. About 28 percent of the vacancies posted by employers are vacancies with salaries from 400 to 500 rubles, and, as a rule, do not require special education or work experience.
