Committee on Labor, Employment and Social Protection: Almost 6 thousand unemployed people were employed in the Vitebsk region in 11 months

За январь - ноябрь в Витебской области на постоянную работу были трудоустроены почти 6 тыс. безработных граждан, сообщили в комитете по труду, занятости и социальной защите Витебского облисполкома.
В целом за 11 месяцев служба занятости помогла найти постоянную работу более чем 15,7 тыс. обратившимся жителям области, в том числе почти 6 тыс. безработных. Содействие в трудоустройстве получили немногим более 400 человек: для повышения конкурентоспособности среди соискателей их направили для обучения специальностям, наиболее востребованным на рынке труда региона. Также безработным предложили выгодный вариант - открыть собственное дело с государственной поддержкой. За январь - ноябрь субсидию для этого получили 110 человек.

Устраиваясь на желаемую вакансию, безработные могут переехать в другой населенный пункт, чтобы жить поближе к месту работы и быстрее добираться до него. Такой возможностью воспользовались 23 семьи. Еще 25 безработных жителей области трудоустроили в рамках приобретения опыта практической работы.

В службу занятости обращалась и учащаяся молодежь, чтобы найти подработку в свободное от учебы время. За 11 месяцев более 4,4 тыс. граждан этой категории смогли потрудиться и заработать средства на личные нужды.

В январе - ноябре около 3,1 тыс. человек приняли участие в оплачиваемых общественных работах.

На 1 декабря в банке данных свободных вакансий Витебской области значилось более 11,1 тыс. предложений от работодателей.

For January-November, almost 6 thousand unemployed citizens were employed in permanent jobs in the Vitebsk region, the Committee for Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee reported.
In total, over 11 months, the employment service helped more than 15.7 thousand residents of the region find permanent jobs, including almost 6 thousand unemployed. Slightly more than 400 people received employment assistance: to increase their competitiveness among job seekers, they were sent for training in specialties most in demand in the region's labor market. Unemployed people were also offered a profitable option – to start their own business with state support. For January-November, 110 people received subsidies for this purpose.

When applying for a desired vacancy, unemployed people can move to another settlement to live closer to their workplace and get there faster. 23 families took advantage of this opportunity. Another 25 unemployed residents of the region were employed as part of gaining practical work experience.

Student youth also applied to the employment service to find part-time work in their free time from studies. In 11 months, more than 4.4 thousand citizens in this category were able to work and earn money for personal needs.

In January-November, about 3.1 thousand people took part in paid public works.

As of December 1, the database of vacant positions in the Vitebsk region contained more than 11.1 thousand offers from employers.
