Committee for Labor, Employment and Social Protection: 412 labor protection violations were identified in organizations of the real sector of the economy of the Vitebsk region
In accordance with the order of the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, since September 19, 2022, mobile groups have been conducting raid activities to ensure compliance with labor protection legislation, with a focus on industrial and construction sites.
An inspection of 50 organizations of various forms of ownership was carried out, covering 91 facilities.
412 violations were identified, the shutdown of 25 units of equipment not meeting safety requirements was indicated, the production of 6 types of work was prohibited, and the operation of one section was suspended.
For all identified facts, 27 information notices were sent to district executive committees and 4 to prosecutor's offices for response measures.
Raid activities will continue until October 17.
The conduct of such events confirms the effectiveness of work in preventing violations of labor protection legislation and averting industrial accidents.
