Committee on Labor, Employment and Social Protection: Events will be held in the Vitebsk region as part of the World Day for Safety and Health at Work

The theme of the World Day for Safety and Health at Work on April 28, 2022, is: "Uniting efforts to create a positive safety and health culture".

Various events will be held in the regions of the Vitebsk region to draw attention to the fact that a reliable occupational safety and health system, functioning with the active participation of authorities, employers, employees, healthcare, and all interested parties, plays a crucial role in maintaining normal working conditions and ensuring the safety and health of employees.

Each year, the World Day for Safety and Health at Work is dedicated to global issues facing employers and employees and is held under different mottos.

The main goal is that social dialogue and the involvement of all interested parties are of paramount importance for the formation of a positive safety and health culture.

April 28 is a day to commemorate workers who have died, been injured, or contracted occupational diseases as a result of dangerous, unhealthy, and unacceptable working conditions.
