Committee for Labor, Employment and Social Protection: in the Vitebsk region, assistance was provided in finding permanent employment for 729 citizens who are particularly in need of social protection
The state provides additional guarantees in the field of employment promotion to citizens who are particularly in need of social protection and are unable to compete on equal terms in the labor market:
-orphans,
-children left without parental care,
-persons from among orphans and children left without parental care;
-parents in large and single-parent families, as well as those raising children with disabilities;
-persons released from places of deprivation of liberty;
-first-time job seekers under the age of 21;
-pre-retirement age persons (two years before reaching the age entitling to old-age pension on general grounds).
Additional guarantees in the field of employment promotion
are provided by:
· establishing quotas for hiring,
· providing vocational guidance services,
· organizing training and other measures.
In January-June 2021, 1073 citizens with additional employment guarantees, or 21 percent of the total number of registered unemployed, applied to the employment service and were registered as unemployed. Assistance in employment in permanent jobs was provided to 729 citizens, including:
264 - parents in large and single-parent families, as well as those raising children with disabilities;
34 – unemployed persons from among first-time job seekers under the age of 21;
1 - children left without parental care;
115 - pre-retirement age persons;
4 - persons from among orphans and children left without parental care;
3 – citizens,
выехавшим с территории радиоактивного загрязнения;6 – ветеранам боевых действий;
69 – военнослужащим, уволенным с военной службы;
105 – гражданам из числа лиц, освобожденных из мест лишения свободы;
128 - инвалидам.
Уровень трудоустройства безработных, имеющих дополнительные гарантии занятости, на 01.07.2021 составил 52,5 процента(установленное задание на январь – июнь 2021 г. – 45 процентов), что выше на 7,5 процентного пункта, чем на 01.07.2020 (45 процентов).

The employment rate of unemployed persons with additional employment guarantees as of 01.07.2021 was 52.5 percent (the established target for January-June 2021 was 45 percent), which is 7.5 percentage points higher than as of 01.07.2020 (45 percent).
