Vitebskoblimushchestvo Committee: Over 350 properties involved in economic circulation in January-October in Vitebsk region

In the Vitebsk region, 352 unused real estate objects were put into economic circulation in January-October, including 27 of republican ownership, 212 of communal ownership, 65 of consumer union ownership, and 48 of OJSC ownership, the Vitebskoblimushchestvo committee reported.

The main way to reduce idle real estate remains sales. Information about objects offered for sale, announced auctions, unused property of organizations and enterprises in the region, and the regulatory framework in the sphere of property relations is posted on the websites of state administration bodies, sent to organizations promoting entrepreneurship and business development, and to the media and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The information is constantly updated.

In January-October, the Vitebskoblimushchestvo committee organized 459 auctions. 109 of them were successful. 114 real estate objects were sold for more than Br2.9 million, including 22 objects of republican ownership for Br815.6 thousand and 92 objects of communal ownership for Br2.1 million.

A total of 548 objects of communal ownership are included in the lists subject to economic circulation or demolition for 2020. Of these, 403 are subject to sale, lease, transfer, or contribution to the charter capital, 21 are for own use, and 124 are for write-off (demolition). A similar approach will be applied to 48 objects of republican ownership, 55 objects of consumer union ownership, and 100 objects of OJSC ownership.

As of October 1, the total area of real estate owned by the Vitebsk region and its administrative-territorial units is about 10 million sq.m. Of this, 316.7 thousand sq.m (3.2%) is leased; 924 thousand sq.m (9.3%) has been transferred under gratuitous use agreements. The unused area has decreased by 92.1 thousand sq.m (10%) compared to the same period in 2019.
