Vitebsk Regional Property Committee: Miory District offers investors a range of real estate objects, including the ancient Mirsky estate

In August, the Vitebsk Regional Property Committee, together with the Vitebsk regional television and radio company, reviewed the work being done in the Miory district to involve unused state property in economic turnover.

Five kilometers from Miory is the ancient Mirsky estate in the village of Kamenpolye.

Until the beginning of the 17th century, Kamenpolye was part of a large estate, the center of which was located in Miory. In 1637, a part of the estate with the center in Kamenpolye was sold to the Svyatopolk-Mirskys, where they subsequently built the estate.

In 1873, a one-story manor house with a mezzanine above the central entrance with columns was built.

The estate was famous for its beautiful park. The road-alley, lined with ancient trees, has survived to this day. Nearby were the stables, built in 1907. Behind the manor house was the regular part of the park with straight alleys and plantings of plants of regular geometric shape.

After the Great Patriotic War, the правление колхоза «Правда» (the board of the collective farm "Pravda") was located here.

The Mirsky estate is included in the list of historical and cultural heritage sites of the Republic of Belarus.

In addition to the estate, the Miory district offers two unused schools, two shops, and a reception point this year.

The largest unused school, with an area of over 2000 sq.m., is located in the agrotown of Idolta, where children studied just last year. The school building has been preserved and is maintained in excellent technical condition.

Near the agrotown of Idolta, in the village of Zautye, a slightly smaller school is also offered to investors.

Both schools are currently offered for sale at auction for a basic amount. The Miory District Executive Committee is ready to consider other options for involving them in economic turnover – leasing or transferring them for an investment project. Here, it is possible to organize production, a service facility – retail trade, hotel services, household services for the population, agroecotourism, and other purposes.

In this case, the Miory district

has a number of positive examples of involving unused state property in economic circulation.

For example, in the center of Miory, there was a repair and technical services building with a total area of 1200 sq.m. that had been unused since 2003.

In 2018, the repair and technical services building was acquired by an individual entrepreneur from Vitebsk. Reconstruction was carried out, and the "Miory City" shopping center was created, with retail spaces leased out.

The shopping center houses 10 retail outlets belonging to various owners. The largest area is occupied by the "Euroopt" store, and there is also a pharmacy, mobile operators, "Ostrov Chistoty," and others.
