Vitebsk Regional Property Committee: 64 auctions for the sale of state property are scheduled for February, including shares of two enterprises in the region

On February 8, the "Vitebskoblimushchestvo" committee sold a former three-story residential building at Gagarin Street, 8 in Vitebsk at a 50% reduced price auction. The building has not been used for a long time, as the last resident moved out in 2016.

At the auction, a Vitebsk resident acquired it for 263,000 rubles during the bidding. In the future, the new owner plans to renovate the building and open an office business center there.

The residential building on Gagarin Street became the 9th and, so far, the most expensive property sold by the committee at auctions this year.

In total, the committee has scheduled 64 auctions for the sale of unused state property for February. For the most part, these auctions offer unused real estate objects with an initial price set at one base unit.

Additionally, the "Vitebskoblimushchestvo" committee is offering shares of two regional enterprises for sale at auction in February.

As part of the privatization of shares belonging to the Vitebsk region, auctions for the sale of shares of open joint-stock companies "Eton Plant" and "Vitebsk City Automobile Transport and Forwarding Company" have been scheduled for February 28 of this year in the trading system of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.

Detailed information on the bidding process, as well as on the joint-stock companies themselves, is available on the committee's website. Auction notices have been published on the websites of the State Property Committee, the regional executive committee, and the Exchange.

The topic of exchanging "Imushchestvo" checks remains relevant for their owners who have not yet decided on their use.

To conduct operations with checks, the owner needs to contact the "Belarusbank" branch that handles "Imushchestvo" check exchanges (for Vitebsk residents, such a branch is located at Smolenskaya Street, 9).

Bank employees will assist with the оформление of the necessary documents.

Despite the fact that the period for using "Imushchestvo" checks is set until December 31, 2025, it is necessary to exercise your right to exchange them now.
