Vitebskoblимущество Committee: a new tourist facility based on a disused forester's house will appear in the Beshenkovichi district

The unused forester's house in the Beshenkovichi district was sold today at an auction by the "Vitebskoblimushchestvo" committee for almost Br48 thousand, the auction organizers reported.

The new owner of the two-story building in the village of Maly Dvor is an individual entrepreneur from Vitebsk. According to the buyer, his main activity is related to car service, and the real estate was acquired for business development in the tourism sector, which is new for him. The forester's house is located on the shore of Lake Lukovskoye near the M3 highway Minsk - Vitebsk and only 15 km from the regional center, which makes it an excellent object for applying resources to create tourist infrastructure. It is planned to organize a catering facility on the basis of the building, and to turn the adjacent covered parking area into a reception and accommodation area for guests. The new owner expects that his regular visitors will include not only tourists and vacationers, but also residents of the nearby agro-town of Ostrovno.

The lot includes two real estate objects with a total area of 350.7 sq.m and a land plot of almost 0.65 ha, leased for 10 years. It is noteworthy that 6 potential investors showed interest in the buildings, which was the largest number of applicants for purchase at the "Vitebskoblimushchestvo" auctions in 2022. As a result, the winner was determined at the 17th step, when the cost of the real estate exceeded the starting price by more than 4 times.

Another entertainment industry facility was also sold at the "Vitebskoblimushchestvo" auction. The recreation center is located in the Polotsk district and consists of a two-story cottage for vacationers with an area of 333.7 sq.m with a bathhouse, swimming pool, and garage. It was acquired by a private organization from Minsk for almost Br80 thousand.

Such objects of the tourism and entertainment industry were sold for the first time in 2022, and in general, they are not often put up for auction by the "Vitebskoblimushchestvo" committee, specialists noted. By the end of the year, it is planned to organize an auction for the "Suya" recreation center, located near the similar object sold today in the Polotsk district.

Since the beginning of the year, 108 properties worth almost Br3.1 million have been sold at the auctions of the Vitebsk Regional Property Committee, including over 30 buildings and structures of former schools, kindergartens, and cultural institutions. By the end of 2022, it is planned to offer about 140 more unused buildings to potential buyers, half of which were put up for sale in October and early November.
