Vitebskoblimushchestvo Committee: The most expensive lot at auctions in 2022 was a general goods warehouse in Novopolotsk
On December 29, the last successful auction of the year was held at the VitebskObimushchestvo committee, where a basic school-kindergarten in the Dokshitsy district was sold. The property was acquired by the buyer for one basic unit.
In total, in 2022, the VitebskObimushchestvo committee announced 749 auctions for the sale of unused state property objects.
Of these, 132 auctions were successful. This allowed not only to replenish the state budget by more than 3.5 million rubles but also to put unused real estate objects into economic use in the Vitebsk region.
- The most expensive property sold in 2022 was a general goods warehouse located in Novopolotsk. The sale price was 864,135 rubles. This is also the largest property sold this year, with a total area of 6,665 sq. m.
- As before, objects offered for sale at auction for a basic unit attracted the most interest – they accounted for two-thirds of the total number, 84 out of 132 auctions.
- The largest property sold at auction for a basic unit is a dairy farm complex located in the village of Stepanovichi, Gorodok district. The complex includes two calf houses, a 400-head farm, a feed mill warehouse, and 4 structures. Their total area is 6,071 sq. m. The buyer is a Russian citizen from Moscow who plans to use the acquired property in the livestock sector – breeding cows and sheep.
In 2022, one historical and cultural value object also found a new owner – the estate of Alfred Romer in the village of Korolinovo near Postavy. At the auction, with an 80% price reduction, the estate was purchased for 9,700 rubles by a resident of Minsk, who plans to restore it and use it for agro-ecotourism.
Geographically, objects located in the Polotsk district were in the greatest demand in 2022 – out of
20 properties were sold in this region, 15 in the Postavsky district, and 10 properties in the Chashniksky district.Schools and kindergartens turned out to be the most in-demand – 26 of them were sold, and they also constitute the largest share of unused state property. Administrative buildings were also in high demand – 19 successful auctions, and warehouse premises – 17 auctions.
As of January 2023, the committee has already scheduled 38 auctions for the sale of unused state property, of which 11 auctions have an initial price set at one base value. The largest number of properties offered in January are former schools – 10 such properties, as well as 6 residential buildings and 4 industrial premises are offered.
