Vitebskoblimushchestvo Committee: Former sanatorium sold in Braslav for almost Br631 thousand.
The property was put up for sale for the first time and has so far become the most expensive acquisition at the Vitebsk Regional Property Committee's auctions in 2022. The buyer is a private organization from Minsk. According to its representative, possible options for using the real estate and organizing entrepreneurial activities are currently being considered. Among the priority areas, the creation of a recreation and health resort facility on its basis is being considered, which will contribute to the development of the tourist potential of the Braslav region.
The funds raised at the auction will be transferred to the regional budget. The lot includes 12 buildings and structures of various functional purposes with a total area of over 2.3 thousand sq.m, as well as infrastructure facilities. The real estate is located within the city limits in a pine forest on a land plot of about 3.7 hectares between the Drviaty and Berezhа lakes. According to the terms of the auction, the winner must reimburse the costs of preparing the property for sale in the amount of almost Br5.5 thousand.
The beginning of summer turned out to be hot for the Vitebsk Regional Property Committee. At the previous auction, the cost of a garage building in Chashniki increased by almost 190 times and amounted to about Br6.1 thousand. Three contenders showed interest in the 156 sq.m building, and the winner was identified at the 55th step of the auctioneer. The new owner is a private company from Vitebsk, which plans to organize a collection point for secondary raw materials on the basis of the property.
Since the beginning of the year, unused real estate worth over Br2.2 million has been sold at the auctions of the Vitebsk Regional Property Committee. More than 70 auctions are planned for June, most of which will have an initial price set at 1 BSU (Br32). The committee will organize thematic auctions for the sale of commercial real estate and educational system facilities. Potential buyers are offered former shops in rural settlements of Polotsk, Shumilino and Orsha districts, which previously
were part of the consumer cooperation system. It is also planned to involve about 20 former school and kindergarten buildings in circulation through auction sales.
