Vitebskoblimushchestvo Committee: over five years, 702 unused facilities have already been put into economic circulation in the Orsha region

Thanks to the adoption of Decree No. 506, signed in 2018, the Orsha region has been provided with unprecedented support measures designed to stimulate development in all spheres of activity.

To open new and expand existing production facilities, the "Vitebskoblimushchestvo" committee and the Orsha District Executive Committee offered a large list of unused facilities. Thus, initially, during the inspection of the use of state and private property conducted in 2018, 624 unused facilities were identified.

This year, 26 unused facilities have been involved in economic circulation – mainly through sale, and another 17 facilities were demolished this year.

In total, over the past five years, 702 facilities have been involved in economic circulation or demolished, which is 90% of all unused facilities identified during this period. As of today, 96 facilities remain uninvolved.

The "Vitebskoblimushchestvo" committee reminds that a number of tax and administrative benefits for starting a business in the Orsha region, provided by Decree No. 506, are valid until December 31, 2023. Investors still have the opportunity to take advantage of the offered benefits.
