Round table on anti-corruption issues

The Prosecutor's Office of the region pays close attention to the issues of combating corruption and corrupt practices, as well as the prevention and preclusion of corruption in all spheres.

Prosecutor's office employees, through mass media, public speeches in work collectives of institutions, organizations, enterprises, and by holding various thematic seminars and forums, explain the main provisions of anti-corruption legislation and inform the public about the work done in this area.

At the end of July, a round table on anti-corruption issues was held at the notary office of the Gluboksky district. The discussion of this pressing topic was actively attended by the Chairperson of the Vitebsk Regional Notary Office, Tatyana Maskina, and notaries from the western district.

At the initiative of the head of the Gluboksky district notary office, employees of the prosecutor's office, the Department of Internal Affairs, and the Investigative Committee were also invited. They made presentations to the notaries and answered questions raised during the meeting.

It should be noted that this type of event is being held for the first time among notary offices in the republic. The practice of involving prosecutor's office employees in such events will be continued.
