The place of art in the professional life of the prosecutor's office

The Department for Supervision of Compliance with the Law of Judicial Decisions in Civil Cases of the Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office attaches great importance to ideological work. Employees of the department visit theaters and other cultural events monthly, and participate in trips to memorable and historical places in Belarus.

In October 2018, the head of the department, I.N. Titkova, her deputy A.G. Sashcheko, and prosecutors M.V. Dukhnova and I.A. Tavtyn visited the Yanka Kupala Regional Drama Theater. There, they watched the performance "Ranevskaya. The Lonely Joker" by the St. Petersburg State Academic Comedy Theater named after N.P. Akimov with bated breath. They were immersed in the unique and amazing world of the brilliant actress of her time, Faina Ranevskaya, felt her subtle and vulnerable soul, and heard the famous catchphrases of this strong, but inwardly lonely woman. The acting, as well as the artistic and musical direction of the play, left no one indifferent.

Recently, continuing this tradition, our small team visited the House of Cinema, where we watched the film "T-34". Throughout the film, each of us was on edge, worried about our guys, virtually participated in the military actions, and, of course, was proud of our country, of the Soviet tankmen who showed courage, heroism, and combat skill under inhuman conditions. Such films foster in us the spirit of patriotism, devotion to our Motherland, people, and our cause.

Joint recreation for prosecutors contributes to team cohesion, familiarization with traditional cultural values, satisfaction of spiritual needs, reduction of psychological and physical fatigue, prevention of professional deformation, and, undoubtedly, is a guarantee of responsible and high-quality performance of official duties.
