The youth platform "Formula of the Future" operated in Vitebsk

Молодежная платформа "Формула будущего" работала в Витебске
In the Vitebsk football arena, an interactive exhibition of the most vibrant youth projects from the regions of Belarus and Minsk has been unveiled. Also featured is an exposition of the republican project "Belarus: Before and After." The photographs depict landmarks of Belarusian cities before and after the Great Patriotic War. Each photo holds its own story.

Vyacheslav Durnov, Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, in his welcoming address to the participants, noted that the festival is now unimaginable without Youth Days.

- Youth occupies a significant place in our festival events. It is gratifying that young people from all regions of the country come to us, and we always support such initiatives. Recently, we held the youth festival "Kurgan" in the Verkhnedvinsk district, which was attended by almost all regions, - said Vyacheslav Durnov. - It is wonderful that our BRSM covers such a wide range of activities.

Ekaterina Petrutskaya, Deputy Minister of Education:

- During the festival days, Vitebsk becomes a focal point for active youth, for those who care about what is happening in their lives and the life of the country. Youth is our support and hope, the reason for which we work today. Currently, nearly 2 million young people live, study, and work in Belarus, which is almost 20% of our population.

She added that the most interesting, innovative, and vital projects for both youth and the entire country, which are created for the long term, are implemented precisely by young people who are ready today to contribute to the country's development. The Deputy Minister urged them not to rest on their laurels, but to strive, develop, achieve, create new projects, and move towards new victories.
- And we will certainly help you and support all your initiatives, - assured Ekaterina Petrutskaya.

A football arena was transformed into a lively discussion platform for several hours. There were no "stop" topics. Young people, and about 200 active and creative individuals gathered here, could ask speakers absolutely any questions.
The discussion covered education, the youth information agenda, the possibility of using AI in public service, and more. They also talked about how women in the modern world can combine all necessary qualities and functions and where to place emphasis.

The First Secretary of the BRSM Central Committee, Alexander Lukyanov, noted that the information field should be in the hands of Belarusians.
- We had a negative experience when they tried to hijack this field, and they are still trying to hijack it. And we simply removed certain restrictions and started working more actively, - he recalled.
The youth information agenda is developing well and actively. A new pool of youth bloggers is emerging, who skillfully and competently promote the youth agenda across all social networks and messengers. According to the Deputy Minister of Education, this is done "beautifully and engagingly."
- I would like to draw attention to the fact that alongside those who make our information field rich and attract attention, there are always those who play on the other side, who try to gain followers, make a name for themselves on topics that are, at best, borderline, controversial for discussion, in which they are not experts. And on some actions that are not normal for a person with traditional values, a true citizen and patriot of their country, a person who knows the history of their country, is faithful to the feat of our grandfathers and great-grandfathers, - emphasized Ekaterina Petrutskaya.
She urged young people to demonstrate a competent, responsible civic stance and not to remain indifferent to unacceptable manifestations. In such cases, a person should be stopped, reprimanded, and shown the right way.

The open dialogue also separately discussed issues of comprehensive support for youth.
