The Museum of the Prosecutor's Office of the Vitebsk Region celebrated its first anniversary – 5 years

In 2015, a museum of the supervisory authority of the region was established at the Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office. The museum exhibits are located in the former forensic classroom of the prosecutor's office, now a training room for conducting specialized seminars for prosecutors.

The museum contains over 700 items of legal literature, dating back to 1948, as well as uniform insignia from the Soviet and post-Soviet periods, photographs of prosecutors, veterans of the prosecutor's office, their personal belongings, and copies of indictments in high-profile criminal cases, such as the Mikhassevich criminal case, a large collection of cameras, photo developing equipment, audio and video equipment, complete sets of forensic investigator's tools, and much more.

During its five-year period, the museum of the Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office has been visited by the leadership and staff of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Belarus, delegations from regional prosecutor's offices and the city of Minsk, representatives of the Pskov Regional Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation, as well as veterans of the prosecutor's office and their relatives, and high school students from educational institutions in Vitebsk.
