In order to prevent negative manifestations in the prosecutor's office teams, the state of service and labor discipline in the prosecutor's offices of the region is analyzed annually and considered at the meeting of the collegium of the regional prosecutor's office, operational meetings with the regional prosecutor, hearing reports from city and district prosecutors and heads of structural divisions of the regional apparatus.

These issues are also regularly discussed at meetings of the attestation commission, ideological training sessions, operational meetings with heads of prosecutor's offices, at training and methodological seminars, and during inspections of city and district prosecutor's offices.

Special attention is paid to improving the professional level of employees.

In the past year alone, at the Institute for Retraining and Professional Development of Judges, employees

prosecutor's offices, courts, and justice institutions of the Belarusian State University, 19 prosecutors were sent for training, 4 to the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, and 2 to the Academy of Management under the President of the Republic of Belarus.

Internships were completed in the structural divisions of the regional prosecutor's office - 47, and in the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Belarus - 5 prosecutors.

The measures implemented in the regional prosecutor's offices to maintain the proper level of service discipline and the professional level of prosecutors contribute to the conscientious performance of official duties and the improvement of the quality of prosecutorial activities.

For reference: in 2020, 60 prosecutors, or 28.8% of the number of actively working employees, were encouraged by the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Belarus. 10 employees were awarded state decorations. The amount of the monthly bonus was increased 182 times, including 63 for prosecutors of the regional prosecutor's office, and 119 for employees of city and district prosecutor's offices, and the Vitebsk transport prosecutor's office.

“Personnel issues, ensuring executive, service, and labor discipline are key issues for prosecutors, especially for the district level in small regions. You must be an example of behavior in professional activities and in everyday life for your subordinates, be a model of moral purity, and cherish the honor of a prosecutor so that your families and loved ones are proud,” said the Prosecutor of the Vitebsk Region, summing up the meeting, addressing those present in the hall and studios.
