Issues of preventing deaths from external causes are under control

The Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee held a video conference meeting of the commission on preventing deaths from external causes, including emergencies.

The commission's work, chaired by the Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, was attended by representatives of the region's law enforcement agencies, leading enterprises of the region, the regional center for hygiene, epidemiology, and public health, and other interested departments.

Issues of the work carried out by prevention entities to prevent deaths from fires were considered, and problematic issues were discussed in detail.

Representatives of regions where a significant increase in fires and deaths from them was observed in 2018 were heard with reports on the work done.

Based on the results of the commission's work, measures were developed for the further interaction of prevention entities.
