Operational meeting discussed issues related to the prosecutor's office of the region's supervision over the implementation of anti-corruption legislation
An operational meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor Sushchinsky V.V., at which emerging issues in the exercise of supervision by the prosecutor's bodies of the region over the enforcement of anti-corruption legislation were discussed; the quality of inspections of compliance with legislation and acts of prosecutorial supervision, as well as the results of the work of individual city and district prosecutors in supervising the compliance of court decisions in civil cases with the law were discussed.
The notable feature of this operational meeting is that the Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office was able to hold it via video conferencing for the first time. An event of this scale became possible thanks to the equipment provided by the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Belarus. Prosecutors of cities and districts were able to communicate remotely, without spending time overcoming distances, and also saving budget funds.
A lively dialogue between the management, as well as the opportunity for everyone to be heard, allowed for the development of specific measures aimed at increasing the effectiveness of supervisory activities.
