At a seminar in the Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, issues of the prosecutor's participation in civil proceedings were discussed

A training forum for regional prosecutors was held at the Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office.

Topic: Organization of supervision over the compliance of court decisions in civil cases with the law.

Via video conferencing, the seminar participants discussed judicial practice on claims for the eviction of citizens from residential premises of the state housing fund.

Separately, the specifics of preparing applications to the court for recognizing property as escheated or ownerless were considered.

Also, errors made in considering cases on exemption from payment of expenses incurred by the state for the maintenance of children under state care, and on reducing the amount of expenses, were discussed in detail.

In addition, discussions covered violations of legislation committed by internal affairs bodies when preparing materials for courts on sending citizens to LTPs, identified as a result of summarizing judicial practice.

After discussing the main issues, prosecutors exchanged views and shared their experience in this area of activity.

Such training events allow for improving professional level, identifying shortcomings and ways to eliminate them.
