On the sports wave

On June 17, 2016, the open paintball championship of the Vitebsk regional organization of the Belarusian Physical Culture and Sports Society "Dynamo" was held among the national teams of the departments of the territorial founding agencies.

 

8 teams participated in the tournament. The Prosecutor's Office of the Vitebsk region was represented by senior prosecutors of departments Shienok K.V., Kolbun V.K., Tolkachev A.D., and assistant prosecutor of the Vitebsk district Filimonov A.S.

Most of the tournament games were hard-fought with roughly equal chances of success, where individual episodes and skillful tactical moves decided everything.

In the first matches, the regional prosecutor's team overcame the resistance of the teams of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus for the Vitebsk region, the Department of Security, and the Criminal Investigation Department of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, losing only to the State Security Committee team in a tough duel.

In the final match, the regional prosecutor's team won an uncompromising victory over the national team of the Financial Control Department of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.

According to the results of the competition, the Investigative Committee team took the top step of the podium. Representatives of the State Security Committee won second place. Third place went to the team of the Prosecutor's Office of the Vitebsk region.

Following the tournament, the teams were awarded, and individual prizes were presented to the best players in their nominations.

It turned out that prosecutors are strong not only in their professional activities but also in sports. The competitive experience gained by our athletes and persistent training will undoubtedly lead to further success.
