In the Vitebsk region, the preparation and appointment of forensic examinations, inspections of crime scenes, investigative and other procedural actions were discussed

A training and methodological seminar on the topic "Preparation and appointment of forensic examinations, conducting crime scene investigations, investigative and other procedural actions" was held at the Investigative Committee Department for the Vitebsk Region. 

Prosecutorial officers, young employees of the Investigative Committee, employees of the Department of the State Committee of Forensic Examinations for the Vitebsk Region, and employees of the regional Internal Affairs Directorate took part in the seminar.

The opening of the seminar featured an introductory speech by the Head of the Investigative Committee Department of the Republic of Belarus for the Vitebsk Region, V.V. Shalukhin, who emphasized the need for a joint discussion of existing problems and the development of optimal solutions to improve the quality of work and optimize interaction between structures.

During the seminar, typical errors in appointing a number of forensic examinations, as well as shortcomings in conducting certain investigative actions, were highlighted.   

When summarizing the results of the seminar, it was noted that only a targeted, coordinated effort by all bodies will contribute to the successful fight against crime.
