Made with soul in Vitebsk region. What the region presented at the exhibition fair of the Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia

The Vitebsk region brought to the XIII Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia what the region is rich in – its brands and calling cards. Sausages, cheeses, smoked meats, condensed milk, cable and wire products, television and other equipment, footwear, furniture, and much more. The potential is fully represented – from industry to tourism, with a cultural program and craft activities.

The exhibition-fair of Belarusian and Russian manufacturers, major industry holdings, artisans, and representatives of business and trade has opened at the Minsk International Exhibition Center BELEXPO. The focus is on the regions of the two countries.

The content of the northern region's stand was reviewed by the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Rogozhnik, and the Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, Anzhelika Nikitina.

Today, during the exhibition-fair, Alexander Rogozhnik met with governors and representatives of the regions of the Russian Federation. As Anzhelika Nikitina emphasized, the large number of guests at the Vitebsk region's exposition confirmed the "absolute potential of the region's products."

– We have certain agreements on the supply of food products to the Russian Federation, but not only. This also includes our so-called heavy industry – water treatment equipment (in particular, there were agreements with the Saratov region), products of the companies PO "Energokomplekt", "Gidropress", and light industry. Everything we produce today is of interest to Russian regions. Russia remains our strategic partner, accounting for 70% of our exports. The Vitebsk region trades with almost all Russian regions, – noted Anzhelika Nikitina.

More than 20 flagship enterprises of the Vitebsk region are presenting their products at the exhibition fair, including "Vitebskhlebprom", Vitebsk, Glubokskoye, Miory meat processing plants, "Marko" company, Vitebsk Fur Factory, "Savlukov-Mebel" factory, "Energokomplekt", "Invet", "VIC-Animal Health", "Vityaz", "BelVitunipharm", and others.

The tourism and cultural potential of the Dvina region is also presented.
