Breaking the law is a way of life.

As a famous character, San Sanych, from the film "Gentlemen of Fortune" once said: "Stole, drank – to jail! Stole, drank – to jail! Romance!".

This is how citizen M.'s life unfolds.

Starting from the age of 24, criminal cases have been initiated against M. Initially, under Article 174 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus (evasion of parents from maintenance of children or from reimbursement of expenses incurred by the state for the maintenance of children who are or were in state care), then under Article 214 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus (vehicle hijacking), followed by Article 380 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus (forgery, manufacture, use or sale of forged documents, stamps, seals, forms), and the last conviction was under Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus (theft).

Citizen M. was sentenced for the specified crimes to punishments in the form of community service, restriction of liberty, and imprisonment.

All crimes were committed while intoxicated.

And so it was this time: on the day of his release from places of deprivation of liberty, M. arrived at the railway station of Orsha-Tsentralnaya, where he met citizen L., who, by coincidence, was also released from places of deprivation of liberty on the same day. Finding common interests, M. and L. decided to celebrate their release in a cafe located at the station.

Since L. had already managed to purchase a mobile phone at a pawn shop, he allowed M. to call his sister from it.

After a short period of drinking alcoholic beverages, M. seized the moment when L. went outside to smoke, and stole the mobile phone left by the victim on the cafe table.

Upon returning, L. discovered the phone missing and immediately reported the incident to the Orsha Department of Internal Affairs on Transport. Thanks to the prompt and coordinated actions of the police officers, M. was detained within an hour at the bus station of Orsha station with the stolen mobile phone.

By the verdict of the court of Orsha district and the city of Orsha, M. was found guilty of secret theft of property. M. was sentenced to arrest for a term of 3 months.
