Natalia Kochanova met with the staff of OJSC "Novye Goryany" of Polotsk district

The agenda included a discussion of the agricultural enterprise's production and financial plan for the next five-year period.

"First of all, at this stage, it is necessary to procure a sufficient amount of our own feed," Natalia Kochanova outlined the primary task.

The enterprise has ambitious plans for 2026–2030: a significant increase in livestock, reconstruction and commissioning of the existing cattle fattening complex, and construction of a modern dairy complex. In addition, the staff is tasked with increasing the production volumes of grain and rapeseed.

"Today, the agro-industrial complex of the Vitebsk region is under the President's control. We must work hard, and we all understand perfectly well that there will be no results without labor," emphasized the Chairperson of the Council of the Republic.

The speaker paid special attention to personnel and attracting young people to the countryside.

"Everything is here for a comfortable life. The infrastructure is developed, it's only 20 minutes to Polotsk, and the road has already been repaired," noted Natalia Ivanovna.

In addition, the Goryany general practitioner's outpatient clinic will move to a new building in July.

During the visit, the speaker inspected the buildings of the cattle fattening complex in Matusovo, where extensive repair work is to be carried out, and visited the fields.

And at the end of her working trip, she thanked the farm's machine operators for their conscientious work.
