The 11th session of the regional Council of Deputies is taking place in Vitebsk
- As a leader, I am pleased to see that we are meeting such an indicator as investments in our economy – this is the future. More than a third of investments are in industry. These are projects that will generate income in the coming years and make our economy even stronger. In 2024, we attracted a record 3.8 billion rubles into our projects and enterprises. This is probably the most important thing.
There are all prerequisites for consolidating positive trends in the budget process and sustainable execution of the Vitebsk region's budget in 2025. This confidence was expressed by the Head of the Main Financial Department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Evgeny Korostik. The unchanging priority in the region's expenditures will remain the financing of social sectors. Special attention has been paid to the growth of labor remuneration for employees of the budget sector when forming the budget for the upcoming year. Already from January 1, 2025, the base rate will increase from 253 to 270 rubles. The budget of the Vitebsk region for 2025 is balanced and allows for strengthening the material base of both budgetary institutions and organizations of the real sector of the economy.
