Alexander Subbotin: "If at least one person can be helped as a result of the techniques, then it is not in vain"
Among the issues raised at the meeting were the registration of a land plot, the commissioning of a pond in the Vitebsk district, and violations of consumer rights in the provision of services for the maintenance and repair of the intercom system in a residential building in Novopolotsk.
– The reception of citizens is a rather effective mechanism, – noted Alexander Subbotin. – With its help, certain problems are identified, gaps in legislation are discovered, and we see where the system is failing. Sometimes, the initiatives that citizens bring help to improve the legislative framework and increase the efficiency of the entire system.
The head of the region also emphasized that there is another side to the coin.
– Some people come to the reception dozens of times with the same issue, – emphasized the head of the region. – We explain the algorithm of action to them, but they are not always ready to listen, they use the reception as a way to express themselves. Finding a balance between benefit and dependency is not an easy task. However, if at least one person can be helped as a result of such receptions, then it is not in vain.
