Alexander Subbotin: every fact of inefficient use of agricultural machinery will be investigated, and those responsible will be punished
This was stated by the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Subbotin, at a conference call on this year's harvesting campaign, which took place today at the Palace of Independence. During his report to the Head of State, Alexander Subbotin emphasized:

– A total of 1160 harvesters are currently actively working in the region. However, it should be taken into account that after 10 years of use, up to 60 percent of the harvester fleet goes out of order. Therefore, we have to update at least a hundred harvesters annually. We are closely working on this issue with the Government. In addition, this year we have retrieved all the harvesters, even those that have not been working for two or three years, and assembled new ones from their spare parts. Therefore, if there are any falsifications, and this has been voiced more than once at conference calls, at the level of the Government, regions, then the regional inspection and the inspection of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food are working in parallel for this. And if the Committee of State Control identifies facts of violations, then investigations will be conducted seriously, and those responsible will be punished.
