Alexander Subbotin awarded mothers with many children the Order of Motherhood
Multichild women awarded the Order of Motherhood were honored at the regional executive committee. It is symbolic that the corresponding decree was signed by the President of Belarus on the eve of Family Day, and the award ceremony took place on the eve of Children's Day.
– Being a mother is a calling, – emphasized the chairman of the regional executive committee, Alexander Subbotin, addressing the heroines of the meeting. – Congratulations on your well-deserved award. We bow low for your difficult maternal labor, for the children you have given birth to and are raising. We value you, and the high state awards are proof of this.
Among those awarded the Order are representatives of various professions: a lawyer, a servicewoman, an animal breeder, a saleswoman, a cashier, a housewife – but all are united by one great love for children. As noted in the presentation of the awardees, all mothers are raising a worthy generation of Belarusians. Relationships in families are built on love and kindness, diligence, humanism and patriotism, adherence to spiritual values and a healthy lifestyle.
Olga Shamshur from Vitebsk has three boys and two girls. The eldest girl is 16 years old, and the youngest is two years old. Two sons, Alexander and Andrey, came with their mother to receive the award.
– My husband and I love children very much. They are our life. I cope with household chores thanks to the older ones, and the younger ones join in. If it's cleaning, we all do it together, we also prepare lunch together. We support each other. By profession, I am a servicewoman, with the rank of sergeant major. My husband works as a security guard. I am grateful to my mother, who helps us with the children, she dotes on them, – says Olga.
Anna Dukhovich is raising six children. First, five girls were born, and then, to their joy, a son.
– My husband comes from a large family – his parents had seventeen children. Mine had three. Children are a gift from God, and accepting and raising them is a great joy, – believes Anna, who manages both with the children and is highly regarded at work – she works as an administrator at a Vitebsk cafe of the enterprise "MegaEvroteks".
