Alexander Subbotin held a meeting with representatives of the media, printing, telecommunications, and communications enterprises of the Vitebsk region

The Vitebsk Oblast Executive Committee Chairman Alexander Subbotin met with media representatives, printing, communications, and telecommunications enterprises at the Vitebsk Oblast Media Center. The meeting was dedicated to professional holidays – Press Day and Radio, Television, and Communications Workers' Day.

The meeting was held in a press conference format… but in reverse. The head of the region took on the role of a journalist, while media representatives became speakers, answering tricky questions. For example, what would you change or improve if you were the chairman of the oblast executive committee? What unforeseen situations have journalists encountered? Or what should journalism of the future be like?

Alexander Subbotin congratulated the journalists on their holiday:

– Today, the media are becoming increasingly important for both the region and the country as a whole. After all, no event can take place without journalists. And how people perceive the news depends precisely on you. I wish you to approach your work with love and creative inspiration! May your ideas be realized and your work bring only happiness. Go boldly forward, because your work is interesting and needed!

The culmination of the event was the awarding of the winners of the regional competition among journalists and editorial offices.
