Alexander Subbotin is holding a meeting of the leadership of territorial defense management bodies in Orsha

In the Orsha district, under the leadership of the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Subbotin, a territorial defense training is being held with the management staff of the regional territorial defense bodies. The training involves the chairmen of city and district executive committees, deputy chairmen of city and district executive committees responsible for territorial defense issues, heads of territorial internal affairs bodies, and district military commissars.

– Our task is to develop a common approach, an understanding of the issues that territorial defense addresses, – noted Alexander Subbotin. – It should give the defense of the state a nationwide character. We are checking the effectiveness of our defense, the operational capability to deploy it exclusively for the protection of our territory, our people, for the preservation of peace and tranquility.

As part of the meeting at the Orsha District Executive Committee, the region's military commissar Dmitry Volfovich reported on the military-political situation in the country. The Chairman of the Orsha District Executive Committee, Igor Moroz, informed those present about the procedure for the district's Defense Council to make decisions on the situation in the region.

The training participants moved to training sites and observed practical exercises on "General characteristics of the deployment location of territorial troops (TT), equipment of military special equipment deployment sites, organization of the security system." They also observed the procedure for using the educational and material base during the combat coordination of TT units.

As part of the training, the command post of the district territorial defense headquarters, its structure, and security system were demonstrated.

A spectacular part awaited at the checkpoint. Here, a scenario of repelling an enemy attack was played out. The training participants were able to observe the coordinated, clear actions of the territorial defense personnel during an attempted breakthrough of illegal armed formations into the city.

In Barani, practical training sessions will be held on the procedure for forming people's militia detachments, their preparation for carrying out tasks, and a scenario will be played out for repelling an attack on a guarded facility and eliminating the consequences of the enemy's use of weapons.

In Bolbasovo, a shooting competition will be held among the chairmen of city and district executive committees.

The training will conclude with a summary of the results and the awarding of prizes to the winners of the shooting competitions.
