Anatoly Linevich familiarized himself with the production process at JSC Vitebskdrev and met with the staff
Anatoly Linevich called on the enterprise's employees to engage in constructive dialogue and was ready to accept proposals, both regarding the creation of a new Constitution and, in general, concerning the development of the country and its future, which is particularly relevant on the eve of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly.
The General Director of the enterprise, Yuri Doylin, spoke about the current development of production and the immediate plans that will improve economic performance. In particular, some projects concern the MDF workshop, which accounts for the main production volume – about 60 percent. These include the modernization of the trimming line and the production of water-resistant and fire-resistant boards.
– This product is in demand, and its production will allow us to expand sales markets and improve economic indicators, – noted Yuri Doylin. – For example, enterprises working for "Ikea" are interested in the water-resistant boards we produce.
In the fiberboard workshop, a change in the press heating scheme is planned to reduce the cost of production. The issue of reconstructing the sawmill section with the installation of new equipment is also being worked on.
The Director assured that everything possible is being done to make the products attractive not only for the domestic market but also for foreign buyers. The head considers the supply of MDF products to Ireland, to a large company producing facades and furniture, as a certain indicator of quality. Also, over the past two years, the products of the MDF workshop have been recognized as the best in our republic.
Anatoly Linevich emphasized that the implementation of plans and all economic indicators should primarily be reflected in employee salaries.
– The average salary at the enterprise for September exceeded 900 rubles. This is not bad compared to the 780 rubles that were for January-August, – noted Anatoly Konstantinovich. – But it is necessary to reach the average earnings in the country, to strive for Minsk salaries. Every person should understand that having a job will provide them with prosperity, and therefore, confidence in the future.
The President’s Aide inquired about the general mood in the team, the employees’ attitude towards the events that have recently been happening in the republic. The Head of the HR Department, Marina Lopatenko, assured that the employees of "Vitebskdrev" did not participate in protests, but on the contrary, actively supported actions in support of peace and stability in the country. She noted that everyone in the team values their work, and the management is doing everything possible to ensure social guarantees.
Those gathered for the meeting asked everyday questions. In particular, they were interested in the development prospects of the DSK microdistrict, as many employees are its residents. A stadium, a swimming pool, and good transport services will improve their quality of life. They spoke about the importance of working with creative youth and identifying promising personnel.
A total of 9 questions were received, to each of which, as the President’s Aide assured, an answer will be given. Whatever worries people, they should not be left alone with their thoughts, and leave them only for discussion in the kitchen. Dialogue should take place in society. And there should be no unanswered questions.
