Anzhelika Nikitina reviewed the progress of the innovative project implementation at Orshaagromash
It is noteworthy that today it is undergoing a new stage in its development – after being separated from OJSC "Orshaagroprommash", the company is becoming part of the "Bobruiskagromash" holding.
During the dialogue, Anzhelika Nikitina spoke about the achievements of the Vitebsk region, particularly the Orsha region.
She drew the attention of those present in the hall to the fact that, being a deputy of the regional Council of Deputies of the twenty-ninth convocation for the Orshichny electoral district No. 38, she does not overlook any issue raised by the region's population.
– For 9 months of the current year, out of 17 socio-economic development indicators set by the government, we are fulfilling 15 and hold leading positions in the country, – noted the Deputy Chairperson. – We have fulfilled the target for gross regional product. Speaking about the Orsha district, the growth rate of industrial production at comparable prices reached 125.9%. Based on the results of last year, among cities with a population of 80 thousand or more, the Orsha district took 2nd place out of 11 cities and regions of the Vitebsk region. This indicates that the Orsha region is developing at a faster pace in terms of its industrial complex. The district ranks 3rd in terms of real wage growth rate. The budget is being filled – the social sphere is developing. Funds are also allocated for major repairs of housing, construction of new housing with state support, renovation of kindergartens, schools, polyclinics, etc. In particular, a kindergarten is currently being built in the new microdistrict of Orsha, for which funds have been fully allocated for both 2024 and the following years. Its construction will be completed in 2025. Regarding new investment projects (the head of state's instruction "One district – one project"), they are being implemented in all regions of the Vitebsk region. We can see the dynamic development of enterprises in the Orsha district.
The innovative project "Creation of production capacities for the manufacturing of innovative cutting bars and gearboxes for agricultural machinery" is being completed at Orshaagromash LLC.
Within its framework, contracts have been signed for the purchase of 17 units of equipment, which have been delivered and installed in workshop No. 3.
– Now there is an opportunity to produce products that Belarus previously purchased through imports. And they are supplied not only to Bobruiskagromash but also to other major holdings in the country, – emphasized Anzhelika Nikitina during her visit to the workshop. – This gives a new impetus to the development of Orshaagromash LLC. We want the enterprise to occupy its niche in the production of agricultural machinery, not just components, as it did before. This includes the production of trailed equipment, mowers, and spreaders for organic and mineral fertilizers – so that the added value remains here, allowing for wage growth and improvement of working conditions for people. Therefore, today we are discussing a number of such projects that the Vitebsk region is also ready to finance. Among other things, we have funds from the innovation fund that can be allocated to projects. It is necessary to develop production and update the material and technical base. Considering that Orsha has competencies in machine tool construction and metalworking, Orshaagromash will move forward. The development of any enterprise involves investment, modernization, and labor productivity.
Deputy Director of Orshaagromash LLC, Alexander Kovalenko, announced that the enterprise currently has a staff of 139 people.
– We have started mastering the production of deep rippers, as well as mowers, of which there will be three types from the new year – mounted, disc, and front. We plan to sell them both in our country and in Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation.
