«Belaya Rus» in maternity hospitals of the Vitebsk region congratulated babies born on Independence Day
The Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Organization of the RPO "Belaya Rus", Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies Vladimir Terentyev visited the Vitebsk Regional Clinical Maternity Hospital. On July 3, there were 14 women here who had already given birth by this time and would soon be discharged home with their babies.
Vitebsk resident Irina Barsukova gave birth to her first child on the night of July 3-4. She named her daughter Sofia – she chose the name long before the girl's birth, as the child was long-awaited. Although Irina became a mother for the first time, she has naturally heard about state support for families with children and considers it an important help for young parents. A greater surprise for her was the congratulations from the maternity hospital administration and honored guests.
Vladimir Terentyev visited all the new mothers in the maternity hospital, including those in the "red" zone and intensive care, presented them with gifts from the public association, and congratulated them on the addition to their families. He noted that in communicating with the women, he felt that for each of them, the birth of their first or subsequent child was a balanced, carefully considered decision, which means that parenthood should also be conscious.
The "Belaya Rus – With Love for Children" campaign, which has become a good tradition over many years, is now acquiring new accents and strength of resonance.
– Previously, we congratulated only children born specifically on July 3rd. This time, we decided to come with gifts to all mothers who are in the maternity hospital during these days. It is pleasant that everyone is in a great mood, the women are radiant with happiness, and satisfied with the conditions. The babies are magnificent, – said Vladimir Terentyev. – We always thank the mothers, but sometimes we forget about those who help babies come into the world, namely, the medical staff. After walking through the maternity hospital in full gear, visiting the "red" zone, you begin to better understand the daily heroism of our doctors. They work in these conditions, perform surgeries, and care for babies. This is a labor worthy of admiration.
