Beshenkovichi Secondary School No. 1 named after I. Storchko has been awarded the status of a school of peace
At the solemn ceremony, the Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, Vyacheslav Durnov, noted that our state is doing everything to ensure that the younger generation has a happy childhood under a peaceful sky.
The task of the children is to study well, so that over time they can take over the baton from adults and confidently lead the country into the future. Vyacheslav Durnov thanked the teaching staff and students for the deeds they accomplished in anticipation of receiving the honorary title.
Member of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly, Andrey Sidorov, wished them to carry the title of Peace School with dignity, kindness, patriotism, and love for our country. He emphasized that parents, who play a decisive role in upbringing, must necessarily participate in the project.
Addressing the schoolchildren, the Chairman of the Beshenkovichi District Executive Committee, Galina Unukovich, expressed confidence that from now on the school will become a beacon of hope and knowledge, a place where ideas are born and every day will be a reminder: peace is not just the absence of conflict, but a complex symphony in which harmony is achieved through respect and love.
The Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Branch of the Belarusian Peace Fund, Tatyana Tumanova, presented the certificate to the school principal, Svetlana Barаnok.
Tatyana Tumanova emphasized that through their activities within the framework of the "Memory", "Care", and "People's Diplomacy" programs, the children have earned the honorary title and joined the movement of young peacekeepers of Belarus.
