Делегация политических деятелей Украины посещает Витебскую область
A delegation of Ukrainian political figures is visiting the Vitebsk region.

The delegation includes Oleksandr Moroz, a political and state figure, head of the Socialist Party of Ukraine and its parliamentary faction leader from 1991 to 2012, and twice Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine; Oleksiy Berezhnyi, a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the II convocation; and Vasyl Tsushko, a Ukrainian politician and deputy head of the socialist party "Oleksandr Moroz's Socialist Party".

The purpose of the visit is to familiarize themselves with the work of advanced enterprises in the agro-industrial complex and the timber processing industry, and to meet with migrants from Ukraine for whom Belarus has become a second home.

The guests from Ukraine visited JSC "Vitebskdrev" and the agricultural enterprise "MazolovoGaz", where, in particular, they learned about the work of the scientific and practical center for breeding cattle and milk production with a robotic feeding system for cattle.

"I have been following Belarus for a long time. I started my working career in Polesie. I know that Ukraine has never had closer relations than with Belarus. I often visited your country, but mainly Minsk. I wanted to see how people live in the regions, further from the capital. My first impressions are that people feel that this is their homeland, they have work, they see prospects. What else do you need for life?!" - noted Oleksandr Moroz.

The guests also plan to visit the educational and practical center for milk production "Kalinovo", the plant for processing oilseeds, and the shopping center "Mazolovo".

After lunch, the delegation will travel to Orsha, where their program includes visiting cattle farms located in the village of Staiyki and the "Teplichny" branch of RUP "Vitebskenergo".
