At the First International Export Forum "Does Export Have a Future?" in Smolensk, the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Subbotin, spoke at the plenary session as a speaker on the topic "Export as the Basis for Sustainable Development of the Vitebsk Region".

Also, within the framework of the plenary session, issues of export support, building an effective regional export strategy, brand promotion, and human resources development were discussed.

The forum brought together representatives of regional businesses, executive authorities of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, and experts in the field of foreign economic activity.

The forum program is intensive. The conference "Women in Export. Reboot" has already taken place. A business meeting of representatives of enterprises of the Republic of Belarus and the Smolensk region is expected.

An exhibition of industrial enterprises of the Vitebsk and Smolensk regions has been organized on the sidelines of the forum. "Vitebskiye Kovry", "Vitebchanka", and OJSC "Invet" presented their products.
