Dmitry Demidov: "People judge the work of the authorities by how housing and communal services issues are resolved"
The venue for the meeting of the head of the region's deputy corps, Chairman of the Vitebsk City Executive Committee Gennady Sabynich, and the head of the administration of the Pervomaisky District Evgeny Semyonchykov, was Housing and Utility Services Department-22. After a workday, the meeting place is most appropriate: all roads lead to the utility service. And there are many reasons for citizens' appeals: current repairs, the serviceability of utility networks, flooded basements, leaky roofs, and wall panel joints. Previously, the issue of solid municipal waste removal was acute; recently, the intensity of this urban problem has subsided.
Out of all the "utility" complaints and appeals received by the 11 existing housing and utility service departments in the regional center, 15% are attributed to Housing and Utility Services Department-22.
This information was announced by the manager of the Vitebsk City Housing and Utility Services Department Alexander Dabatovkin.
– Such problems are characteristic not only for the residents of this particular department but, to varying degrees, for all citizens. And since Housing and Utility Services Department-22 is one of the largest, it was decided to organize a meeting with people here, – emphasized the head of the region's deputy corps.
A total of more than ten people signed up and attended the reception.
