Worthy of praise. Alexander Subbotin praised the work of Vitebsk Prefabricated Reinforced Concrete Plant No. 3

Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Aleksandr Subbotin visited the branch "Vitebsk Reinforced Concrete Assembly Plant No. 3" of OJSC "Krichevcementnoshifer" and assessed the enterprise's performance.

The head of the northern region got acquainted with the range of products manufactured by the plant today. He was informed about the enterprise's successes in foreign and domestic markets, as well as its plans. According to the plant's management, this year they intend to achieve an export level of 120-130% compared to 2021.

"The assessment is very positive, because what was here a few years ago and what we see now is commendable. Export markets are being developed intensively, and the plant is working very well for the domestic market," Aleksandr Subbotin noted. "I think our main problem is roads. Perhaps we will direct our work towards concrete roads. According to calculations, they are even slightly cheaper than asphalt and are durable. Of course, there are many components here not only for housing construction but also for agriculture. This will be extremely important and in demand now."

According to Aleksandr Subbotin, enterprises in the Vitebsk region have overcome the "shock of the first sanctions blows." "They are trying to strangle us, and intensely. But it is gratifying to see that not a single enterprise has fallen to its knees; everyone is promptly finding new logistics chains, suppliers of equipment, spare parts, raw materials, and product sales. All this, of course, takes time, but it is spent on it an order of magnitude less than it could have been. Everyone is actively looking for new markets, new clients, and partners. And everything is working out," the head of the northern region concluded.

Vitebsk precast reinforced concrete plant No. 3 became a branch of OJSC "Krichevcementoshifer" in 2017. At that time, it was on the verge of bankruptcy. Over the past 5 years, a large-scale modernization has been carried out at the enterprise, and a new line for the production of hollow-core floor slabs using the slipforming method has been launched. These slabs are practically ready for painting. Today, the plant manufactures and supplies building materials and structures to the markets of Belarus and Russia. It not only produces serial products but also fulfills individual orders. The products are used in the construction of residential, public, and industrial buildings and structures. The enterprise, which employs about 150 people, operates in two shifts. The product range is being expanded here, and modernization continues. According to Director Viktor Mitronov, it is planned to allocate about Br100 thousand for these purposes by the end of the year.
