The head of the region congratulated Dolomit OJSC on its 90th anniversary

– We are finishing 2021 with good results. Last year, export growth compared to 2019 was 150 percent, and this year, I think, we will reach another 140%. The products of OAO "Dolomit" are in demand in various fields: agriculture, road construction, metallurgy, and others. Currently, the issue of production modernization is being worked out, as some equipment is already morally and physically obsolete, – noted Ivan Babak, General Director of OAO "Dolomit".
Modernization at the enterprise is ongoing. Mining and automotive equipment, technological lines are being updated, and new types of products are being developed. Recently, mineral powder was produced for road workers, which meets not only Belarusian but also European standards.
– Our "Dolomit" once had all-Union significance. After the collapse of the USSR, the fertilizer supply market shrank, which affected the plant's operations. But overall, it has withstood and is gaining momentum. The region and the government have high hopes for the enterprise's potential. There are plans to expand the product range that can be obtained from dolomite. And, of course, to pay special attention to fertilizer production, – emphasized the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee Alexander Subbotin.

For the head of the region, Ruba is his small homeland, so he could not refuse the invitation to share the holiday of the city-forming enterprise where his parents worked.
– My father came to "Dolomit" after school, and my mother came here by assignment. They dedicated their whole lives to this enterprise. Like any person, I have a special feeling for my small homeland and, of course, I will pay increased attention to it. Homeland is homeland! – noted Alexander Mikhailovich.

At the celebratory evening, which took place at the Palace of Culture "Ruba", the head of the region read out a greeting from the President of Belarus.
Congratulating the enterprise's employees on its 90th anniversary, Alexander Lukashenko expressed confidence that the current team, while preserving the best traditions, will continue to implement the most advanced technologies, improve production processes, expand and support the social infrastructure of their native village.
Today, about 800 people work at OJSC "Dolomit", more than 40 of them have been dedicated to the enterprise for over 40 years. The most deserving were awarded certificates of the Council of Ministers, the regional executive committee, and other awards.
After the solemn ceremony, a festive concert took place.
