The set of measures for the development of the Orsha district will be finalized

Projects of the comprehensive program for the development of the Orsha district for the period up to 2023 and the decree "On additional measures to create conditions for the accelerated development of the Orsha district of the Vitebsk region" will be finalized, the press service of the government reported following a meeting of the Presidium of the Council of Ministers.

The relevant sections of the program and projects have been presented to the Deputy Prime Ministers with the participation of the heads of republican government bodies, the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee and the Orsha District Executive Committee.

During the work on them, some points were clarified, but questions remained that require discussion. According to Prime Minister Sergei Rumas, the set of measures, which includes more than five hundred activities, needs substantial refinement. "It needs to be structured by government bodies, goals, objectives, and a unified system of indicators and parameters for achieving goals should be defined depending on the type of activity. It is also necessary, based on the set of measures approved at the republican level, to develop activities in sectoral and regional plans, to specify them in order to ensure the required result," emphasized Sergei Rumas.

The Prime Minister believes that personal responsibility for the implementation of the program and the set of measures should be assigned to the chairmen of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, the Orsha District Executive Committee, the heads of government bodies, and the monitoring of the program and the set of measures should be assigned to the Ministry of Economy. Sergei Rumas instructed to finalize the projects as soon as possible and submit them to the Administration of the President by November 16.
