A logistics center will appear in the industrial zone of Vitebsk on the basis of former production buildings

Vitebsk entrepreneurs plan to build a modern logistics complex on the site of unused buildings of OJSC "BelVitunipharm", which were sold at auction by the enforcement department of the main justice department of the Vitebsk regional executive committee, the department reported.

A total of four buildings with a total area of about 26 thousand sq. m, located on Frunze Avenue of the regional center, were sold. The potential buyer agreed to pay a total of over Br484.7 thousand for the buildings. According to Vitebsk individual entrepreneur Pavel Jakovitsky, in cooperation with partners, he plans to create a logistics center with related services on their basis.

"We visited the facilities the day before and made sure they are in satisfactory condition. The buildings attracted us with their location in an industrial zone, where it is profitable to develop logistics services," the businessman noted, adding that the project will require significant financial investment, so it is too early to talk about its implementation timeline.

Among the acquisitions are the former main production building with an area of almost 25 thousand sq. m, a warehouse (about 1.1 thousand sq. m), as well as two small guard houses. A total of five buildings belonging to OJSC "BelVitunipharm" were put up for auction, arrested to cover debts on enforcement proceedings.
