A master class by artists of the Honored Collective of the Republic of Belarus Presidential Orchestra was held as part of the "Unity Marathon" at the Vitebsk State Musical College named after I. Solertinsky.

There were more people who wanted to listen to the musicians' performance and hear their professional advice than the assembly hall could accommodate. The following artists performed for students and teachers: laureate of international competitions, Grand Prize winner and laureate of the Special Fund of the President of the Republic of Belarus for the Support of Talented Youth pianist Alexander Danilov, laureate of international competitions, Presidential Fund scholar cellist Maria Makhvits, holder of the Francysk Skaryna Medal guitarist Sergey Kuntsevich, and others.

Those who attended the meeting warmly supported Nikita Vershelovsky, a third-year student and laureate of prestigious competitions, who appeared on stage with the orchestra artists. He also received words of praise from the virtuoso pianist Alexander Danilov.

By the way, the Presidential Orchestra includes Yuri Shablovsky, a percussionist and graduate of the Vitebsk Musical College. Perhaps, in the future, the ensemble will be joined by other students from the city on the Dvina River.

– We are happy to have the opportunity to visit different parts of Belarus as part of the "Unity Marathon." In Vitebsk, we are giving two master classes and also performing at one of the city's enterprises. Music truly unites people, – noted conductor Oleg Chekhovsky.
