The International Economic Forum "Innovations. Investments. Prospects" will be held in Vitebsk on May 18 and 19
The main economic event of the year in the Vitebsk region will return to Vitebsk's main concert venue - this year the epicenter of the forum will again be the Summer Amphitheater and the adjacent territory, where traditional presentations of the potential of enterprises and districts of the northern region will take place. The central theme of the forum is formulated as: "Creative Economy - Betting on the Future," based on the creation and implementation of innovations.
Traditionally, the forum will be opened by a plenary session, which will feature speeches by the heads of the Vitebsk region, partner regions, leading enterprises from various industries, top managers, and business owners. Panel discussions will be organized on such relevant topics as innovative import substitution, clusters and technoparks as drivers of regional development, special economic zones and their role in the development of industrial cooperation, and building strategies for interaction between education and business. Taking into account the experience of previous years, the events will be held in a combined offline and online format.
The business program of the forum includes thematic expositions and demonstration sites "Territory of Innovations in Industry," "Light Industry - Platform for Cooperation Opportunities," "Innovations in Pharmacy, Healthcare, Medicine," "Energy: Resources and Technologies," "Innovative Equipment and Technology," "Tourism Potential of the Vitebsk Region." At the "Agro-Industrial Potential of the Vitebsk Region" exhibition fair, a wide range of products from Vitebsk manufacturers will be available for tasting. To expand sales markets and establish new partnerships, a subcontracting exchange will be organized for industry, construction, agriculture, transport and logistics, IT, and education.
In 2022, 15 delegations from Russian regions, as well as representatives from India and Iran, participated in the events of the X International Economic Forum, including remotely. Within the framework of the forum, 6 documents of various formats on cooperation in the economic and educational spheres were signed.
The forum is traditionally organized by the Vitebsk Regional and City Executive Committees, Vitebsk Regional Marketing Center State Enterprise, administration of the Vitebsk FEZ, Vitebsk Branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Vitebsk Regional Employers' Union.
