The Ministry of Industry presented the Vitebsk region with a certificate for a Gomselmash grain harvester

In a conversation with journalists, Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee Anzhelika Nikitina emphasized that the exhibition showcases the best examples of modern domestic technology that can be touched by hand. It is gratifying that among the visitors there are many children and young people. This is very important because it forms the foundation of our future. Young people see that domestic mechanical engineering is developing. Perhaps some of them, having visited this wonderful event created by the friendly family of mechanical engineers, will want to tie their future to the industry.

Vitebsk region also has its own history of mechanical engineering. The first enterprise was established in 1900 in Orsha. Today, "Krasny Borets" operates quite successfully, producing various types of machine tools. In total, there are almost 50 mechanical engineering enterprises of various forms of ownership operating in the Vitebsk region. We are proud of our products: lifts, televisions, electrical measuring instruments, water treatment plants.

According to Anzhelika Nikitina, such events are necessary, regardless of the industry. They show that we are developing, despite sanctions and difficult conditions.

It became known that the Ministry of Industry handed over a gift certificate for a "Gomselmash" combine harvester to the host party. It will find its owner this coming Friday at the regional festival-fair of rural workers "Dazhynki-2023".
