In November, the State Property Committee has scheduled 115 auctions for the sale of unused state property objects, the largest of the new objects is School No. 5 in Polotsk.
Investors may be interested in the building of the former school No. 5 in the city of Polotsk, which has a favorable location. This is the largest of the objects put up for sale for the first time.
The school building has not been used since last year, when as part of the program to optimize educational institutions, school No. 5 was merged with school No. 14. Based on school No. 14, after major repairs with the support of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and the leadership of the region and the city of Polotsk, a socio-cultural center with sports facilities for all residents of the region was created.
The school building itself, with an area of 4500 sq.m., as well as a training workshop, are offered for sale at auction in November. The school has centralized electricity supply, heating, and water supply. The building is currently maintained in good technical condition, is heated by its own boiler room, and has a video surveillance system installed.
A land plot of more than 1 hectare is allocated to the new owner.
After reconstruction, a social facility or commercial and service facilities can be located here – such as a shop, a shopping center, a market, a restaurant, a cafe, postal services, savings banks, pharmacies, integrated reception points, self-service mini-laundries, mini-dry cleaners, ateliers, hairdressers, photo studios.
In total, the committee announced 865 auctions in the first 10 months of this year, of which 99 auctions were successful. This has not only helped to utilize unused state property objects for regional development but also replenished the budget by 5.8 million rubles.
